Lisa
SLICC 3 Ambassador
Bird
Lisa has spent her life living the SLICC values through service, leadership, and compassion for others. She regularly volunteers with organizations such as Special Olympics, Wreaths Across America, Honor Flight, and the Trauma Intervention Program, while also creating service projects of her own to support those in need within her community. Professionally, she serves as the Director of Program Health and Public Service/Government Relations for Granite Bay Care, Maine’s largest provider of services for adults with intellectual disabilities. She was also recognized as one of Maine’s 20 Outstanding Women for her volunteer service.
A firm believer that confidence and kindness matter more than age or appearance, Lisa loves that USA Ambassador celebrates women for who they are and how they inspire others. She is obsessed with going to the movies, loves cheering on her sons at hockey games, and never misses her weekly date night with Mr. Bird. Known for her loud personality and empathetic heart, she proudly embraces life’s simple joys, including her belief that a trip through the local car wash is the perfect three-minute stress reliever.
